do this effectively Chilwell dp needs ALL of our patients to turn up for their appointments.
This year alone over a THOUSAND people decided not to attend their appointments,
resulting in more than FIVE WEEKS of your and our time being lost.
Help us to help you. If you can't keep an appointment let us know.

Children's activity week
 A very successful children's activity week was held
over the October half term.
Congratulations to those who won our guess the smile competition and colouring competition
and thank you to all who took part. The winners each received a £5 Argos gift voucher.
Our next activities week will be held during February half term (16th - 19th 2009).
If you would like your child to take part then please ring us to book them a place.

Charity event
 Congratulations to Barbara, one of the patients at Chilwell dp for braving
the weather to climb Ben Nevis in awful conditions to raise over £1000 for Breast Cancer Care, of which £89
(£114 including GiftAid) was raised by the generous donations of our patients. On
behalf of the charity thank you all very much.
A big thank you to all of our patients who have supported our charity events over
the past year.

Stocking filler
 Christmas comes but once a year. Go on, treat someone.
For the little ones, we have special edition gift boxes, which contain a toothbrush,
toothpaste and a beaker – perfect for that time when you're teaching them to brush
their own teeth.
And then, as they learn to look after their own teeth, we also have two minute timers
and flashing children's brushes to help them continue keeping their teeth healthy
and clean.
We have great deals on our range of electric toothbrushes including "the top of
the range" Phillips Sonicare (which comes with two Proresult Brush heads, charger
and a travel case) and the Oral B Vitality. They both make great gifts.

Top tips
It's not just the
quantity of chocolate, sweets or fizzy drinks that causes damage to teeth but also
how often they are eaten.
Don't snack in between meals.
Make sure you brush your teeth at least TWICE a day for TWO minutes.
